This is the home page for the PGPsendmail/Unix Suite, a collection of
programmes to ease the use of PGP (Pretty Good Privacy, a widely used
encryption package available for Unix, MS-Windows, Macintosh and other
platforms).
PGPsendmail/Unix is particularly helpful when sending and receiving
PGP-encrypted email.
The major programmes provided are:
- PGPsendmail, a drop-in wrapper for the standard sendmail
programme, providing automatic encryption of outgoing email
- PGPdaemon, a robust decryption and email processing server,
providing automatic decryption of incoming email
- pgppipe, a convenient front-end to PGPdaemon, providing
interactive and batch (script) mode access to decryption facilities
without the need to enter a passphrase
- pgpsign, another convenient front-end to PGPdaemon providing
signing facilities
- other utilities to support email address extraction and database
matching facilites, which may be used in constructing sophisticated
email filters (i.e. anti-spam filters)
PGPsendmail/Unix is available for
ftp.
